Malia Faasolo Timmons holds a PhD in Business Administration from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing, China. She spent four years living in China and received a Chinese Government Scholarship for doctoral study in 2018-2022. Previously, she was a Senior System Analyst/ Head of the ICT Unit at the Ministry of Public Enterprises, Tonga (2017-2023). Currently, she is a permanent resident of the United States of America and works at Pacific Aviation, San Francisco, California, USA.

Kamila Usmanova holds a PhD in Management Science and Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing, China. She has spent fifteen years studying in China and received scholarships for bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees. In addition to expertise in the Chinese language (with HSK level 6 and HSKK level 6), she also speaks fluent English, Russian, and Kazakh. Currently, she works as a translator in a Chinese company in Russia.

Minja Veličković has been travelling far from her home country to pursue a career as a model. With 176 cm in height and 63 kg in weight, China is her job destination choice as the Chinese fashion industry is one of the most flourishing worldwide. Her hobby of painting has gone hand in hand with her modelling passion. She has been working for several renowned cosmetics and clothing brands in Guangzhou city of China since 2022.

Kawther Mousa is a PhD candidate in Business Administration at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, Beijing, China. She has received Chinese Government Scholarship for doctoral study in 2020-2024. During her study, she traveled to several Chinese cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, and Guangzhou. The war in home country does not stop her from realizing her academic dream.

Dr. Iwan Koswara, M.Si. is the Head of the Media Production Management Study Program, Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University, Bandung, Indonesia. One of his functions as the Head of the Study Program is to develop students’ interests, talents, and skills in accordance with the main competencies of the Study Program which are oriented towards improving academic achievement. His presence at the ISFA 2024 seminar is to encourage both students and lecturers to increase their academic potential at international level as well as to continue their education abroad and/or have a promising career abroad.

Nurul Iman Hima Amrullah, S.Ag., M.Si. is the Rector of Al-Ihya Islamic University (UNISA) Kuningan, Indonesia. He graduated from the University of Indonesia, Jakarta, with a master’s degree in social welfare. Currently, he is completing doctoral study in management at the University of Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta, Indonesia. As the leader of the university, he motivated all lecturers and students to study until the end of their lives and pursue knowledge even abroad, as the saying goes: “Kejarlah ilmu walau sampai jauh ke negeri Cina” (Pursue knowledge even if you go far to China).

Achmad Wildan, S.Sos., MM. is the Deputy Dean I at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Garut University (2019-present). He is also the manager of the Al-Bayyinah Garut Education and Social Foundation (2008 – Present) and the Darussalam Wanaraja Garut Foundation (2012 – Present). He was a presenter at the 2018 ICOMACS (International Conference on Media and Communications) Bandung. He is completing the Doctoral Program at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Padjadjaran University (2017 – Present). Been travelling to several cities in Japan such as Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka and was stunned by its high technology, he is enthusiastic to motivate lecturers and students to pursue higher education in Japan and have international standard competencies.
